Stephen Thorne on Searching for New Horizons in Photography

Photojournalist Stephen Thorne describes his lifelong quest for what Eugene Smith described as the unreachable "limits of the photographic potential." Thorne will show samples of his work in news, feature, documentary, portrait, fashion and fine-art photography as he discusses Smith's contention that "every photographic horizon, upon being reached, reveals another beckoning in the distance. Always, I am on the threshold.”
