How many of your carry around the ability to make videos but forget to do so, or are intimated by an imaginary technical hurdle?
Four club members (Jamie Johnson, Ed Overstreet, Lazlo Kovacs and Dave Haggarty) will provide examples of when to use video rather than still photography to further artistic endeavours and develop your role as family photographer.
In the second half we will show how advances in technology and software have made this less daunting than imagined.

Celebrating 75 Years tells the story of the RA Photo Club's successful growth from its beginnings upstairs from a downtown Ottawa café. In 40 pages with about 70 photos, it is a treasure trove of anecdotes tracing photography's development in the biggest photo club in Canada's capital. Based since the 1960s at the RA Centre on Riverside Drive, this lively group of activist photographers thrives on learning taste and technique from experts and especially each other.
By Photo Club members for present and past club members, this handy and handsome booklet is on sale weekly at Tuesday club meetings for just $10.
