The Figure and Glamour Group provides opportunities for club members to undertake photographic studies of the human figure in indoor or outdoor settings. Joining the group is without additional cost as such, but participants in shoots using the studio must be paid up studio group members. They also pay for the services of models used in indoor or outdoor shoots. Working with semi-clothed or nude models, figure and glamour photography is a challenge that makes the human form the central focus of its photography. Different workshops and group shoots will be offered periodically throughout the year. All organized shoots will have post-shoot critique and reviews. Group members will present examples of their work to the club during the season.
Some topics that the figure and glamour group would like to cover within group shoots and workshops may include:
Lighting the figure
Figure photography in the natural environment
Elements of glamour photography
Natural beauty
The Group is open to suggestions for other topics of interest.
