Last Saturday (21st) I had the opportunity to attend a workshop on Table-Top Photography (along with six other club members) given by Robert Laramee. It was the best five dollars I’ve spent in a long time. On these cold winter days when I really don’t feel like going outside to shoot snowflakes Robert provided me with a whole new world of possibilities – inside my own house. Needless to say I was very impressed and came away with a new appreciation for the work of one of our own club members. Robert provided what I would call the “thinking man’s approach” to Table-top Photography. I
can’t wait to set up my own in-house table-top studio. If you see Robert offering this workshop again -take advantage. It’s five dollars well spent.

I believe that, given what I’ve heard about the workshop (not to mention the high quality of Robert’s work) I will be imposing on Robert, or rather I will try to impose on Robert, to take a regular rotation as one of the Studio Group’s workshop leaders and add his Table Top Photography workshop to our regular suite of workshop offerings.

That’s all very well, Richard, but will you keep the price at $5?
I really wanted to go but it was sold out so fast.
He did create a morning event but that didn’t work with my family obligations and it filled too. Hope there will more sessions.
