  ater than their parts. The triptych format challenges photographers to 
  transcend the single frame\, creating sophisticated narratives that invi
  te viewers to linger\, discover\, and reflect.•	Differences in Building
   Structures – images capture the distinct architectural character of 
  urban\, rural\, and industrial environments\, showcasing how different bui
  lding styles\, materials\, and purposes create unique visual narratives. 
  •	Human Connection – images that capture the movement of humankind 
  through the world of domesticity\, the frenetic pace of public spaces or
   the hustle and bustle of work environments.•	Nature Scene – captur
  e three image aspects of nature ranging from dramatic landscapes to int
  imate details\, showing the patterns and transformations found in the na
  tural world.•	Abstract transformation – transform that turns the fa
  miliar into the interesting with everyday objects by revealing unexpect
  ed patterns and perspectives.  Each entry should consist of a single di
  gital file\, of up to 1920x1080 in size.  Your three images for the trip
  tych should be contained in this digital canvas.The background for the 
  images can be any colour\, gradient\, pattern or texture. Patterns or tex
  tures should be the creation of the photographer.Arrangement of the pho
  tographs within the digital canvas is at the discretion of the photogra
  pher.  Images are allowed to overlap.There should be no border around t

DESCRIPTION:This is a digital and print competition.Minimalist photography is a for
  m of photography that is distinguished by austere simplicity.   It emph
  asizes sparseness and careful composition\, shying away from overabundan
  ce of color\, patterns\, or information.Negative space is the empty space
   around and between the subject(s) of an image.  In minimalist photogra

  at the RA starting at 7:30 pm. Please note:  This year this event will 
  be held in Courtside B\, not in Clark Hall.  This change was made becaus
  e the lighting to view prints is better in that room.This is the Club's
   pre-eminent print competition and is being held for the first time sin
  ce the the pandemic. Entrants are required to enter 5 prints that are c
  onnected to each other in a series\, or that are a “sequence” of ima
  ges with a story line. Judging is by a single judge with experience wit
  h monochrome images who will comment on each set of entries and then se
  lect a single winner. We look forward to seeing as many members as poss
  ible attending this premier event.Participants must register their inte
  nt to compete on the RAPC Events website before April 28\, 2026.&nbsp; T
  he site will accept registration starting on Sunday March 1\, 2026.Parti
