For the past 20 years she has made her home in Chelsea, Quebec, a rural community located in a hilly, forested setting about 20 minutes from Ottawa, Ontario.<br \/>\nHer aesthetic frame of reference is interpreting the natural world that surrounds her.<br \/>\nFor the last years she has been concentrating almost exclusively on using camera movement at the moment the shutter is released. The camera becomes her paintbrush and she uses it to interpret reality; to create her own personal impression of her subjects.<br \/>\nAdrienne has taught photography locally for 15 years and she has also taught for three summers at an art school in Giverny, France.<br \/>\nShe graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, magna cum laude. She also studied photography at Carleton University, Algonquin College and Maine Photographic Workshops.<br \/>\nAdrienne has exhibited in solo and group shows in Ottawa, Toronto and Chelsea.<br \/>\nHer photographs are held in private and corporate collections.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.adrienneherron.com\/index.htm\">http:\/\/www.adrienneherron.com\/index.htm<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>James Sutton <\/strong><br \/>\nJim first started making photographs in the Spring of 1967 during his Canada Centennial Project, a cross Canada hitch-hiking\/train trip with a Kodak Brownie box camera and 126 film. By the end of that month long trip he had bought his first SLR, a Practika. Now owns a long string of both film and digital SLR&#8217;s and related equipment.<br \/>\nAmong his main achievements are:<br \/>\n<em>Fall Challenge Award<\/em> for 1997 and 1998<br \/>\n<em>Take Your Best Shot Award<\/em> 1992 and 1997<br \/>\n<em>Photographer of the Year<\/em> for 1993\/94, 1996\/97 and 1999\/00<br \/>\nBecame The RA Photo Club&#8217;s first Master Photographer in 2001&#8230;(now one of only two)<br \/>\nWrote an article called\u00a0<em>Hip Boot Photography<\/em> published in the Fall 2007 issue of <em>Canadian Camera Magazine<\/em>.<br \/>\nRecognized by CAPA as a certified judge of photography.<\/p>\n<p><strong>David Clow<\/strong><br \/>\nDavid has been an amateur photographer for the last 30 years<br \/>\nMostly self taught, he has attended workshops over the years with Garry Black, and Richard Martin.<br \/>\nPhotography interests range from wildlife and other nature topics, to sports\/action to portrait\/human form photography. He sells his work when requested but hasn\u2019t yet quit his day job.\u00a0 David is a radiologist, trained in all aspects of modern medical imaging, reviewing\u00a0 10-15,000 pictures each\/every day. He has also experimented by combining work with pleasure, and produced some x-ray photography.<br \/>\nHe has won several awards in the <em>Canadian Geographic Photo Contest<\/em> over the last 20 years,\u00a0 as well as an award in the first annual CAPA AV show competition.<br \/>\nHis work has been published in <em>Canadian Camera<\/em> (CAPA), and very recently in <em>Canadian Geographic<\/em> (Best of Canadian Wildlife 2012)<br \/>\nHe currently displays his nature photography through his website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lightrenderings.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.lightrenderings.com<\/a><br \/>\nHe has given past workshops in Algonquin Park, with plans to start annual workshops in Tofino, B.C. in 2013.<br \/>\nHe has had a solo exhibit on <em>The People of Havana<\/em> at the National Press Club,\u00a0 another on his Journey to Antarctica here, at the RA Centre, as well as a juried joint exhibit on Prince Edward Island, at the Centre Point Theatre Gallery.<br \/>\nDavid has been a member of the RA Photo Club since 1999, winning several annual awards in different Club categories.\u00a0 He is currently in the Senior Category.<br \/>\nHe is also a CAPA recognized judge for photography competitions.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clearfix\"><span class='ldc-ul_cont' onclick=\"alter_ul_post_values(this,'9022','like')\" >Likes<img src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.raphotoclub.ca\/wp\/wp-content\/plugins\/like-dislike-counter-for-posts-pages-and-comments\/images\/up.png?w=640&#038;ssl=1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/>(<span>0<\/span>)<\/span><span class='ldc-ul_cont' onclick=\"alter_ul_post_values(this,'9022','dislike')\" >Dislikes<img src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.raphotoclub.ca\/wp\/wp-content\/plugins\/like-dislike-counter-for-posts-pages-and-comments\/images\/down.png?w=640&#038;ssl=1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/>(<span>0<\/span>)<\/span><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Adrienne Herron Adrienne Herron is a photographic artist who has lived in Toronto, Vancouver, Kitchener, Ottawa and Montreal.
