It’s a car rally with a photographic twist.\u00a0 You will embark on a great adventure … a trip where at regular intervals (you set the time!!), you and your friends stop for a “Photo Break”, getting out of the vehicle to capture the scenes before you.<\/em><\/p>\n For This Rally, we will be going up the Ottawa Valley.<\/em><\/p>\n You are free to photograph whatever you like \u2013 old abandoned properties, farm This is an Urban outing, but could accomodate nature shooters. It could provide an opportunity to shoot for the January club competition, “The Hand of Man in Nature”.<\/em><\/p>\n Each team can devise whatever photographic criteria it likes for each stop. It can be fixed or random as you like. Make it fun and challenging. One stop can be a macro shoot, one stop a group shot, one stop landscape scenery, whatever.<\/em><\/p>\n It\u2019s up to your team, the entire car can work to the same criteria at each stop, or not; it\u2019s entirely up to you.<\/em><\/p>\n As you can see, there aren’t a lot of rules (actually there are NO rules!) – but we RAPC members organize themselves into car travel groups \/ shooting teams of between 3-4 members (5 is also fine if you have big car or like close physical contact).<\/em><\/p>\n Car teams will be able to choose from two departure points:\u00a0 1. The RA Photo Club at 10:00 am on Saturday November 7.\u00a0 2. The Kanata Park and Ride on the south east side of Eagleson & the Queensway also for 10:00 am departure.<\/em><\/p>\n Each team chooses its own route. Look for cool ideas for side trips. We recommend avoiding highways as much as possible. Side roads are encouraged.<\/em><\/p>\n We will meet near Renfrew for an dinner at 6:00 pm – details to be provided later.
