She will draw on her impressive experience as a National Geographic workshop leader to discuss how to combine technical, practical, and creative aspects of travel photography. Photographing in foreign countries requires technical expertise, cultural competence, intuition, curiosity and a dash of panache. Nevada has them all. She will share ways to approach and creatively photograph people and situations, using both natural light and fill-flash, along with cross-cultural considerations.
