Solitude<\/strong>
\nThere were 135 submissions to this month’s competition and the judges awarded 34 ribbons. The theme of the competition was “solitude” and it was open to the interpretation of the photographer. Nevertheless, the judges kept remarking, “solitude does not mean solitary”. Based on the judges own comments I’m not sure they were always on the same page but then again it isn’t an easy concept to deliver on. The judges were Raymond Aubin, Ela Kinowska and Bill Young. Their bios are at\u00a0 http:\/\/www.raphotoclub.ca\/wp\/?page_id=15012<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Once again there was no Print of the Night or Slide of the Night as no one achieved a score higher than 25. The following lists the winners but all of the awarded photographs can be seen on the RA Photo Club web site under Competitions (Winners Gallery).<\/strong>
