Colourful Zipper<\/i>, Rachelle Carriere<\/figcaption><\/figure>The judging for this competition had a record number of 4-point spreads, according to John Elliot<\/strong>, Competition Chair. When such a spreads occur, the judges are customarily given a second chance to score the entry. In this competition however, the spread, more often than not, stayed at 4 points apart. The judges were Lois Siegel<\/strong>, Gord Weber <\/strong>and Chris Klus<\/strong>. Click here<\/a> for their bios.<\/p>\n

There were 121 entries, resulting in 25 ribbons. Robert Steklasa<\/strong> won promotion to Intermediate. The no-Print-and-no-Slide-of-the-Night drought of the last two competitions was broken by Rachelle Carriere<\/strong> with her 26-point slide in the General Category.<\/p>\n
