\nThe competition is held every year in memory of the late Bruce Wilson<\/strong>, a senior member of the RA Photo Club and former Competitions Manager who died in January 1998. Bruce earned his promotion to the Senior level mostly with high-quality black-and-white prints. Hence all the entries in the competition that bears his name are monochrome prints (five allowed per participant).<\/p>\n

This year the competition was held on May 14. There were 12 participants. The judge was Lori Pauli<\/strong>, Associate Curator of Photographs at the National Gallery of Canada. Click here <\/a>for her bio. The Master of Ceremonies was John Elliott<\/strong>, Competition Chair.<\/p>\n

The competition was won by Jayni Bloch<\/strong>. Honorable Mentions went to David Burt<\/strong>, Luc Delorme<\/strong> and Abigail Gossage<\/strong>. The other participants were Gerald Bloch<\/strong>, Raymond Charette<\/strong>, Michel Dorais<\/strong>, Robert Laram\u00e9e<\/strong>, Jaliya Rasaputra<\/strong>, Louise Richard<\/strong>, Chantal Ringuette<\/strong> and Tony Sakalauskas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
