Darrell Larose, Jim Sutton, Claude Wauthier<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Serenity was the assigned theme of this competition and the images presented definetly provided that calm, tranquil feeling. First the statistics. There were 125 entries; 58 assignment slides and 7 prints along with 53 general slides and 7 prints. What’s with the small number of prints? There were 32 ribbons presented including one very beautiful Print of the Night by Jayni Bloch entitled “Open Doors with Open Hearts” There was one advancement on the evening – David Burt moved from Junior to Intermediate. Congratulations David. Our Judges for the competition were: Darrell Larose, Jim Sutton and Claude Wauthier. The following is a listing of the first place photos by category.
