Tuesday, March 25th we had the results of the Faces and Figures Competition – the last general competition of the Club year. For me, Faces and Figures is an Anchor competition similar to the Nature competition that starts off the season. And the competition did not disappoint. There were many wonderful photographs to gaze upon if ever so briefly.<\/p>\n

The judges for the competition were, Charles Frost<\/strong> of the Ottawa Camera Club, Emily Wetzstein<\/strong> owner of Diamondview photo and our own Gord Weber<\/strong>. The judging was tough but fair and I thought the comments were crisp and generally spot-on. There were two advancements on the night – Brian Rouble<\/strong> advanced from Junior to Intermediate and Bob Matyas<\/strong> from Intermediate to Senior. Congratulations to Brian and Bob.
\nThere were 122 entries, 64 assignment and 58 general and the judges awarded 32 ribbons. The following is a list of the first place winners.
