Work from four Club members – three of them Darkroom members – has been short-listed for the School of the Photographic Arts: Ottawa\u2019s (SPAO) fourth annual part-time student contest and exhibition.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The photographers are Judy Dupont, Michelle Hak Hepburn, Jerry Lam & Vladislav Ivantchenko. Judy, Michelle and Vladislav each had one image selected while the judges picked two of Jerry\u2019s prints.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The prints ran the gamut as far as technique goes with gelatin-silver prints (from Michelle and Vladislav along with one of Jerry’s), an inkjet from Jerry and a tea-toned cyanotype<\/a> from Judy. Congratulations to all four for having their photography recognised in this way!\u00a0<\/p>\n

The work of the four Club members along with the other short-listed pieces is on show at the SPAO Red Wall Gallery<\/a> until 19th<\/sup> September 2011. (Monday-Friday, 11:00-18:00, Saturday, 10:00-15:00, Sundays and late evenings by appointment or by chance. The Red Wall Gallery is located in SPAO at 168 Dalhousie, at the corner of Bruy\u00e8re, in the Byward Market.)<\/p>\n
