Workshop Description<\/em><\/p>\n

New members to the RA Photo Club Studio Group are required to attend a Studio Orientation session before they are allowed access to the studio\u2019s online booking facility.
\nIn this session you will be briefed on;
\n\u2022 Studio policies (use policies, cancellation polices)
\n\u2022 Model booking policies
\n\u2022 Learn how to operate our equipment
\n\u2022 Learn some basic lighting set ups<\/p>\n

Goals and Objectives<\/em><\/p>\n

The goal of this orientation workshop is to ensure that all Studio Members know the basic \u201cdos and don\u2019ts\u201d about how to use our facility, equipment, model pool, and gain a bit of knowledge on how to set up basic lighting scenarios.<\/p>\n

Outline<\/p>\n

The workshop will consist of:
\n\u2022 Facility Booking and cancelation Procedures
\n\u2022 Model Pool Booking policies and procedures
\n\u2022 How to set up the facility for a shoot
\n\u2022 The basics on how to work with models in the studio
\n\u2022 Demonstration on basic lighting techniques
\n\u2022 Participate in a shot practice shoot (if timing allows)<\/p>\n

Target Group
\nNew Studio members and returning members who feel they need a refresher.<\/p>\n

PrerequisitesExperience with using your camera, and camera use basics (aperture setting, manual model, etc)<\/p>\n

If the afternoon session fills quickly, please sign onto the waiting list. If there are enough interested folks on the afternoon session’s waiting list I wiill run a second “morning sesison” and seed it from the afternoon session’s waiting list.<\/p>\n
