style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Visual design is the deliberate choice and arrangement of elements in a  photograph in order to effectively convey a message. \u00a0In this talk, I  connect the dots between the way our brains work to perceive images, and  how you can use this information to design images that tell your story. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>We\u2019ll discuss visual design elements, including light, colour, line,  shape, and perspective, as well as principles such as dominance, balance  and proportion. \u00a0Each of these is a tool that can you can use to  reinforce a particular mood, emotion, or reaction, and, ultimately,  better depict your unique vision.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-6237\"
