An Invitation To Our Next Vernissage: Roads
\nMark Schacter: Roads
\nVernissage \u2013 Thursday, October 21st, 2010 6:00PM \u2013 8:00PM<\/em><\/p>\n

Canada is one of the most sparsely populated countries on the planet, and roads have been the way into, through and out of vast and empty places.<\/em><\/p>\n

This exhibition features the work of Mark Schacter.<\/em><\/p>\n

The evening will also celebrate the launch of a book of Schacter\u2019s photography \u2013 also called Roads \u2013 to be released by Fifth House Publishers next month.\u00a0 A limited number of advance copies of the book will be available for purchase on the evening of October 21.<\/em><\/p>\n

Roads \u2013 both the exhibition and the book \u2013 is a vision of Canada seen from highways, dirt roads, urban thoroughfares and small-town streets.\u00a0 Schacter traveled throughout Canada gathering the images, and so there are photographs from\u00a0 every corner of the country; and in each photograph, somewhere, there is a road.<\/em><\/p>\n

An Exposure Gallery Vernissage is an evening of fine art, fine people, and fine conversation. We hope to see you there!<\/em><\/p>\n
