Claude Wauthier
I started photography more than 40 years ago.  At that time, most photographers were self-taught photographers and I was no exception.  Over the years, photography always remained my true-life passion. The advent of digital photo changed the landscape of photography and I have since continually stayed up-to-date with new technology. I am currently completing a degree in visual arts at UQO.

I teach photography at group and individual levels.  I have been quite active in the creation of Coup d’Oeil and Le Pixeliste, two new francophone photo clubs in the region. I am a member of the Club photographie Polarisé de l’Outaouais, of which I was the President from 2004 to 2008, and I am a member of the Professional Photographer Of Canada.  I have been involved in judging many photography competitions at local and regional levels.  I also judged the Canadian Forces Photo Contest at the national level.

GanImage was created to transform a true passion into a profession and I have been devoting myself full time to photography since.  Most of my photography is dedicated to weddings and portraits but I always remain active in travel and nature photography which keeps me in harmony with our environment.
