LOIS SIEGEL
Lois Sigel is a photographer, filmmaker, casting director, writer, professor, and musician. Siegel was named one of the Capital City’s Top 50: People who are shaping the future of the National Capital, by Ottawa Life Magazine, 2002.
Siegel’s film STUNT PEOPLE (featuring four generations of the Fournier family) won a 1990 Genie Award: Best Short Documentary from the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. She teaches Video Production at the University of Ottawa.
Siegel was chosen as one of nine photographers to shoot The Rolling Stones concert in Ottawa, 2005. She works as a freelance photographer for The Ottawa Citizen, The Ottawa Business Journal, and Diplomat Magazine. She also photographs and writes for The Glebe Report, and The Centretown Buzz. She has photographed for Metroland Media and Capital Style Magazine.
She is the Official Photographer for the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Championship and for the Ottawa Valley Country Music Hall Of Fame Awards Show. She was Set Photographer and Unit Publicist on the dark comedy, feature film “Eddie – The Sleepwalking Cannibal,” shot in the Ottawa/Gatineau region, a co-production with Quiet Revolution Pictures, Majika Pictures and Fridthjof Films – Ottawa, Quebec, and Denmark. Siegel shot food photos for the textbook, Cuisine Foundations, for Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute published by Delmar Cengage Learning.
She was one of the judges for the 2007 Excel Awards International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), recognizing the most creative and innovative communications professionals in the National Capital Region, and for the Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA), Annual Digital Competition, 2012. Siegel worked as a photographer on the set for Don Winkler’s documentary film “Les Violons du Roy: “Ode to a Requiem” (Mozart) in Montreal, that premiered on CBC’s “Opening Night” series.
Eighty-two of her photographs (film producers, directors, actors) were displayed in Complexe Desjardins during the 20th Anniversary of the Montreal World Film Festival, 1996, and 120 of her photos were displayed at the Montreal World Film Festival in 2002.
Siegel worked as entertainment director, photographer, writer and video director for Projections Multimedia Inc. during the 17th World Congress of the Transplantation Society, Montreal, 1998. In 2000, she completed a 56-minute corporate video: PIONEERS: A HALF-CENTURY RETROSPECTIVE OF TRANSPLANTATION as video director for OROALLIANCE, a National Communications Company.

GORD WEBER
RA Member since 2003 – photography became a passion when the digital craze hit. In 2003 he bought his first digital camera and has not looked back since. He has specialized in Sports, Event, Fashion and Glamour Photography. Gord was a workshop leader for the RA Photo club for Glamour and Figure photography from 2006-2010. For the past 3 years he has held workshops on shooting sports for SPAO and private workshops out of his home studio. He also takes photographs of the Canadian Football League players for Jogo Inc. and other companies and magazines. Some of the clients that he works with are Jogo Inc, Land and Home, Total Fit, Inside Fitness, Playboy’s the smoking jacket, FHM, UMM, Maxim and Trenz Magazine, Single Mens Magazine and others.
In 2008 Gord was awarded “Photographer of the Year” by the RA Photo Club.

CHRIS KLUS
Chris Klus is an Ottawa-based photographer and travel writer. Chris has published photos and articles in The Ottawa Citizen, Canadian Camera, Photo Life, Canadian Geographic, Kanawa Magazine and other publications. He was a second place winner in the CAPA 2008 Digital Competition, a winner in the Canadian Geographic Westen Values photo completion and a winner in the Photo Life monthly themed photo contest. In 2009 he had an exhibition of his Havana images at Timothy’s in Ottawa. Chris has a travel photography column and is an assignment photographer for Taste & Travel magazine. Chris is a CAPA certified judge and and has been a judge for the 2012 CAPA annual photo competition and for a number of photo clubs in Ottawa. He has led photo workshops in Cuba and is planning future workshops in other locations.
Chris has taken numerous courses on photography and photoshop and has taken workshops with Freeman Patterson, Andre Gallant, William McElligott and Adrien Duey.
Chris is a member of the Orleans Photo Club.
