LORI PAULI

Lori Pauli is the Associate Curator of Photographs at the National Gallery of Canada. She has organized numerous exhibitions and catalogues including:

Manufactured Landscapes: the Photographs of Edward Burtynsky (2003)
Acting The Part: Photography as Theatre in 2006 Utopia/Dystopia: The Photographs of Geoffrey James (2008)
Wonder and Invention: 19th Century British Photographs from the National Gallery of Canada (2011)
Domestic Symphonies, the Photographs of Margaret Watkins (2012)

Lori PauliShe has also published on the work of photographers Diane Arbus, Oscar Gustave Rejlander, Gary Schneider, Stella Simon, and Edward Weston and of Canadian/Scottish photographer Margaret Watkins. Lori has been a guest lecturer at the University of Ottawa where she taught the history of photography. She has been invited to speak on various topics in photography in Canada, the United States and abroad. She also has been a portfolio reviewer for several years at Contact in Toronto and at SPAO in Ottawa.
