A Quick Time movie – a greeting from Bill Dexter in Victoria, BC – was supposed to have been shown at banquet night but that was not done because of technical problems.

Bill Dexter was chairperson of what was then the RA Camera Club in 1979-80, and continued as an active club member until the early 1990s, when he and his wife Barb moved to Victoria.
It was during his term as chairperson that the Photographer of the Year award was established. He was a helpful contributor of information used in writing of the 75th Anniversary club history.
