Award-winning photographer Nevada Wier is the guest speaker at Latow Photographers Guild’s 32nd annual seminar. Her topic is Creativity in Travel Photography.
Nevada specializes in photographing remote corners of the world and the cultures that inhabit them. She will draw on her impressive experience as a National Geographic workshop leader to discuss how to combine technical, practical, and creative aspects of travel photography. Photographing in foreign countries requires technical expertise, cultural competence, intuition, curiosity and a dash of panache. Nevada has them all. She will share ways to approach and creatively photograph people and situations, using both natural light and fill-flash, along with cross-cultural considerations. This full-day seminar is $65 (online registration). The AV Festival on Saturday evening is $10.
