RAPC VOLUNTEER AWARDS 2011-12

The RAPC Volunteer Awards were announced by Barbara Lapointe, Chairperson of the Nominations Committee, during the Annual Banquet at Mandarin Ogilvie, on May 22, 2012.

ALICE GILLIES AWARD
The Alice Gillies Award has been established to honor an RA Photo Club member who has contributed in a significant way to the life of the Club, and to photography in general. There were 10 nominations and the 2012 winner is:

OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION AWARD
Each Club Year, the Awards Committee collect nominations from members and recommend the winners to the Club Executive. The Outstanding Contribution Award goes to people who have made a significant contribution during their first 5 years of membership in the Club. Up to 5 awards can be given each year, but people can only receive it once. For 2012, the winners are:

Elaine Hum Sim
Jack Starkings
Richard Whitbread
Glenn Bloodworth
Pierre Chartier
