Michael Runtz Book Signing

Michael Runtz, naturalist and photographer, has an upcoming event which may be of interest to RA Photo Club members. Mr. Runtz will be doing a book signing of his new book, Natural History at Chapters, 47 Rideau St., Ottawa on Fri. June 22, 7-9 pm.
Michael Runtz hosted an international television series, Wild by Nature and has written more than 1,000 newspaper and magazine articles and published 10 best-selling natural history books. A frequent keynote speaker and regular guest on radio and television, Michaels’s conservation and educational efforts have attracted numerous awards including a Federation of Ontario Naturalists’ Service Award, the Canadian Council of University Biology Chairs Distinguished Public Education Award and the Carleton University Lifetime Achievement Award. He teaches Natural History and Ornithology courses at Carleton University.

Natural History is an up-close and in-depth exploration of the dynamic world of Nature. Plants that devour small animals, aliens that live inside caterpillars, frozen frogs, and exploding seed pods are among the rich array of topics covered in this unique book.
