I am one of the event planners for Colonel By Day. The event is presented by CHOO/COPO in partnership with the Bytown Museum to commemorate Colonel By with a FREE fun-filled day of heritage on August 6th 2012 (civic holiday) from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

The organizers say they didn't get enough momentum to hold a contest but there is still ample opportunity to go out and get some neat images. Lots happening and there is a group of photographers heading out and you are free to join them.
