The number “8” represents life. In “Pieces of 8” Ottawa artist and RAPC member, Aimee Britten, presents pieces of life through her lens and paint brushes. The combination is eclectic, ranging from black-and-white sketches and nature-based paintings to full-colour urban and abstract photographs. This exhibition follows a recent highlight for the artist. Her paintings of two swans “Wake Up!” was purchased by the Honorary Keeper of Ottawa’s Royal Swans.
