Festival X is an annual photography event which this year is taking place in art galleries across Ottawa from September 20-30. Ottawa has a huge wealth of photography talent to draw from and the festival will be showcasing some amazing photographers on view in both public and private galleries throughout the area, as well as films focused on the celebration of photography, public lectures on artistic processes & technology and artists’ talks.
The RA Photo Club is proud to be participating in Festival X again this year. At our Open House on Tuesday, September 25 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, we will be showcasing both the exceptional photographic talent that exists within our Club, as well as the extensive photo facilities at the disposal of our members. In addition, throughout the festival we will be presenting a representative sample of the work of our members. These photographs can be viewed at the RA Photo Gallery just inside the Main Entrance of the RA at 2451 Riverside Drive and Bronson Avenue.
