RA Photo Club Open House a Success

On Tuesday, September 25, the RA Photo Club hosted its annual Open House. Each year at the start of the Club’s season of events the Club holds an Open House to showcase its activities and the various special groups within the club. The Open House often attracts new members and provides both new and some of the not-so-new members with an overall view of the club’s activities from the Urban (bricks and mortar) photographers, to the Nature Group (birds and bees), the Fine-Art Group (your guess is as good as mine), AV, portrait, glamour etc. The club also show’s off the ‘resources’ it has available from the Digital Resources group to the Dark Room for those that not only remember but
still use film. You can even get feedback from Feedback meetings .
A highlight of this year’s Open House was the opening or should I say re-opening of the RA Photo Club Studio – welcome back. It is way better than the “Tiny Tots” room and a significant improvement on the studio of two or three years ago. My photo doesn’t do it justice (I asked for a wide-angle shot but couldn’t get anyone away from the models).
Congratualtions to Izabel and her team for another successful RA Photo Club Open House.
