Workshop on creating the Classic Portrait
More praise for the new RA Studio facility and the club leaders who are going to make this facility a great success. On Sunday afternoon, September 30th, Howard Sandler led a workshop on creating the classic photo portrait.
Building from a one -light set up through a five-light set Howard provided a vast amount of information on lighting, camera functions, posing, backgrounds, clothing that fits best with the classic portrait, facial analysis (discretely) and much, much more. We also learned about broad lighting, short lighting and modified loop lighting. Our model, Simona, was fantastic as well as beautiful and very patient with us.
