January Photo Competition – Solitude

Solitude
There were 135 submissions to this month’s competition and the judges awarded 34 ribbons. The theme of the competition was “solitude” and it was open to the interpretation of the photographer. Nevertheless, the judges kept remarking, “solitude does not mean solitary”. Based on the judges own comments I’m not sure they were always on the same page but then again it isn’t an easy concept to deliver on. The judges were Raymond Aubin, Ela Kinowska and Bill Young.
