Recently, Howard Sandler took a few photo club members on an exploration of lighting techniques for glamorous portraits. The idea was to use lighting, wardrobe and makeup to produce photos that were rather like those of vintage hollywood photos of the 1930s and 40s. This was another fun workshop in the RA studio using primarily the “beauty dish” to provide the key light with hair lights and other lights as needed. Becky Bodnar was our model providing some lovely hollywood flair.
