Another sold-out event as Wilf Oberthierled conducted a studio workshop on Classic Portrait Lighting and Posing.
Wilf methodically demonstrated the process of posing, lighting and refining. First with harsher dramatic light so people could clearly see the process, then with appropriate diffusers and fill-lights. Afterwards we replicated the looks using window light since not all shots are done in a studio setting.
Wilf had a nice way of directing the model and getting good body positions. He was also very careful about head tilt, getting the right shadow length next to the nose.
