Often on those cold dreary winter days you can satisfy that photography bug by photographing everyday items at home – and make them into masterpieces. Robert Laramee is an expert on this form of photography and on Saturday, January 4th he taught two workshops in the studio back to back on Tabletop photography. These workshops were especially timely as we approach the next competition date entitled Nature Morte or Still Life. Those of you who have not taken Robert’s workshop should make it a priority for next year. It is well worth the time invested. Attached are photos on the finer points of photographing a cocktail glass and its shadow. Another photo shows how to line up a shot of a glass with coloured dye seen through another glass of water.
