An interesting competition for the RAPC as there seemed to be more than the usual difficulties with the assignment definition – essentially a Still Life photo where the photographer makes the picture. This led to a higher number of disqualifications although all were given a second and sometimes third chance.
There were 112 accepted entries and 31 ribbons awarded. The “Slide of the Night” went to Dennis Blonde whose photo, Venetian Glass, was really magnificent. Judges were Janet Street, Raymond Aubin and our own Howard Sandler. All were well qualified to judge this competition and did a great job.
