Club member Kevin Backs will talk about fifty photos and the impact they’ve had on his perception of the world. These photos have shaped his ideas of how things should be, fuelled his passion for photography, made him laugh or brought him to tears. Some of the photos illustrate the depths to which humans can sink, while others show the heights we can achieve. There is no specific theme to the selection of photos, or the presentation, other than, “These are fifty photos that have moved me in some way”. Although most of the photos will be by other photographers, some of whom are famous and others who may be fairly obscure, Kevin will be including a few of his own photos and talking about what he was trying to express with them — the audience can decide just how successful (or not) he was in his attempts.
