Urban Pear presents a series of black and white photographs taken by Ela Kinowska, a local photographer, who explores the urban scene of contemporary Moscow.
Ela brings us right into the soul of this mega-city. Her black and white photographic images are intimate explorations in a busy cityscape and her passionate eye brings the viewer to another level of intimacy; making the space between the viewer and subject an invisible line.
This show is part of the Moscoviana series which is a collection of photographs taken over the last three years in Moscow.
Ela has been pursuing photography for the last 25 years, specializing in black and white images, using both traditional and digital techniques.  She has exhibited her work in various public and private galleries in Canada and abroad.
