Club membership: SLASHED From $95 to $64!
Studio Group: REDUCED From $60 to $30!
Digital Resources: CUT From $45 to $23!
Darkroom: HACKED DOWN From $55 to $28!
Seriously, RAPC Chair Bob Matyas has released details of some rate cuts that give you a great opportunity to try some of the Club’s resources at a lower cost – or invite a friend or colleague to try the Club. Details below:
From Bob Matyas (Chair):
I am sending this email to members of the RA Photo Club who may wish to take advantage of this attractive offer for the balance of the 2010/11 season. Alternatively, if you know of anyone who may want to join the club, could you please pass on this information.
Effective Monday, February 21 the RA Photo Club will reduce its club membership fee as well as the fees to join all our resource groups. Specifically, the rates for the remainder of the season are reduced as follows:
Club membership: From $95 to $64
Studio Group: From $60 to $30 (studio pay-per-use remains at $20/booking)
Digital Resources: From $45 to $23
Darkroom: From $55 to $28
The studio has now moved to a new location on the second floor on the west side of the RA Centre to what was formerly the “Tiny Town” room. This facility is dedicated to RA Photo Club studio use until the end of August. It is an interim location and we expect a more permanent venue in the future.
The Digital Resources Group provides a Digital Scanning Room which includes a Nikon LS 4000 35mm slide/negative scanner (4000 dpi resolution) and an Epson 3200 flatbed scanner with transparency unit that can scan both prints and large-format slides and negatives at 3200 dpi resolution. New this year is the Nikon Super Coolscan 5000 ED slide/negative scanner which is available for loan to group members. In addition, we have Monitor Calibration Equipment, books & DVDs on Lightroom, Photoshop, Colour Management, Portrait Photography and Flash Photography as well as the LensAlign Digital SLR/Lens Focus Calibration tool.
These fee reductions provide an opportunity for Club members try out resources that may not have been considered previously and for non-members to join the Club and any of its resource groups for a period of 6+ months at a very attractive rate.
