“Your image should capture the magical feeling of winter.”
Knowing how much we Canadians love winter, it was a bit of a surprise to learn that the Winter Wonderland Competition had attracted only 89 entries, the lowest showing of the season. And we were deprived of any promotion. Still the average score was a respectable 20.5 points and the competitors garnered a total of 33 ribbons.
The judges: Charles Frost, from the Camera Club of Ottawa; Jim Sutton, one of RAPC’s three Masters; Gord Weber, voted Ottawa Top Photographer three times by the readers of Face Magazine. The MC was John Elliott.
