Most of you are aware that various members of the CAPA National Board are up for election each year. In years with even numbers the various directors are elected, while in odd numbered years it’s the executive’s turn to face the ballot. Due to the proceedings at the AGM on August 3, and the Board Meeting immediately following, we are excited to announce that we have a full executive for the next two years.
I’m honoured that I was asked to serve as your president of this great photographic organization. Rod Trider, who served many years as the Ontario Zone Director, is the new vice-president. Mike Breakey and Len Suchan have both served for nine years in their positions as secretary and treasurer, respectively, and we are delighted that they agreed to serve another term. Jacques Mailloux will continue to serve us as past president.
We are also delighted that Allen Bargen has returned as Director of Education. Allen was instrumental in developing the CAPA Judging Course some years ago, and is actively involved in presenting the courseat various locations this fall. Check the details on the Blog at capacanada.ca…
