Education Committee presents

Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom Plugins Workshop

By Gilles Vezina

Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom Plugins are add-on software programs aimed at providing additional image effects or performing tasks that are impossible or hard to do using either one or both of the two programs. Plugins can be activated from within either PS or LR and several other photo editing programs and act like mini editors that modify your image.

Gilles Vezina is an avid user of Plugins in his Lightroom workflow. He will introduce to the attendees a bouquet of Plugins that produces several and varied image effects. Some Plugins introduce presets or filters that create specific influence. Others produce visual enhancements tools from atmospheric effects to stylized borders and textures. Several allow you create layers as a plug-into Lightroom.

Gilles will introduce several available Plugins to be used for many different purposes but will concentrate on one as an example. He will detail how and when to use and what effects it is needed for. He will use the software on some images and guide attendees through the application interface and workflow.
