Daydreamer is an invitation to abandon the state in which things actually exist. The notion of story gives the viewer the power to reconfigure the image into something personally tangible and infinitely variable. The characters enable a psychological projection of fears and desires. Daydreamer explores the intersection of figure and setting, drawing away from the ideals of sanctuary within our atmospheric and personal landscapes. On a personal level, Daydreamer presents a world uncomfortably too natural.
Greg Zenha is a visual artist and educator specializing in large-format analog photography and printmaking. He is thirty-two years old and currently resides in Montreal, Quebec.
