Darkroom Group Show 2011

I don’t think film will be completely dead, but it could possibly become one of the most luxurious things in the years to come.

It's a process with a special lith developer that needs a very long exposure time & it's never developed to its completion. It also make one-of-a-kind photos. My 3 prints are all “lith”. The current RAPC Gallery show is of prints produced by members in the Club’s Darkroom. Photographers who produce work using the analogue, silver process value the process of darkroom work as well as its nearly two centuries of tradition.

We (I am one of the exhibitors) are endlessly fascinated by the alchemical magic that happens when silver & light interact to produce a photograph and we all hope our fellow Club members will enjoy viewing the results now on show in the RAPC Gallery.
