I work for a program called Pathways to Education in Ottawa. We help youth from low income communities in the west end of Ottawa get through high school and into Post secondary education thought tutoring, mentoring, one on one advocacy support and financial incentives. Our program has been operating for four years in Ottawa and this year we have our first graduating class.
The reason I am contacting you is because we are hosting our graduation ceremony next Thursday [26 May – Ed.] and we do not have a budget for a photographer. I had heard about your photo club through one of my neighbors and I was wondering if any of the amateur photographers in your club might like to get some practice and donate a few hours to take some pictures of our event.
The event is at the Ron Kolbis Centre at Britannia park in the west end of Ottawa from 4:30pm to 8pm.
Any info or leads you could offer us would be greatly appreciated.
