“In this photograph, a concrete structure can be seen running along the top of the distant ridge. Is it a wall, a barrier, or a fence?” Leslie asks.
Fresh from the triumph of Berlin Studien, presented by the artists of Studio 255, of which she is a founding member, Leslie launches her solo exhibition at The Red Wall Gallery, part of the School of Photographic Arts: Ottawa (SPAO).
The photographs of Jerusalem and Masada, cities of stone, were taken this year.
The vernissage was well attended. Fellow members of the RA Photo Club were out in force.
The exhibition continues until September 2, 2011. (Mon – Fri 10:00 – 18:00, Sat 10:00 – 15:00)
