Hello Photo Club Members,
On behalf of all of us at the RA Centre, we invite you to join us as we celebrate the RA Centre’s 70 years of service to members. Who knew back in 1941 that the RA and the many Clubs offered here would grow to be such a force in Ottawa’s recreation, sport and fitness community!
The major event, the 70th Anniversary Gala is set for Saturday, October 22, 2011. It provides a perfect opportunity to extend an invitation to the members of the Photo Club to come dine and dance with RA
friends. We hope you will help us make this night an amazing celebration of our 70 years by encouraging Club members to attend. Feel free to extend invitations to those who are no longer active, as both our current and past members have played an integral role in the success of the Photo Club at the RA. Enclosed is the information on the evening. Terri-lee Lefebvre from our Events and Conference Group has set aside a table for the Photo Club. She can be reached at 613-736-6221 and will happily honour the group price for all guests of the Photo Club. To aid us in finalizing the plans for this event, we are encouraging people to purchase their tickets by October 14th.
It will be a great night to reminisce, enjoy good company and dance to the sounds of The Stevens & Kennedy Band, Ottawa’s premier Dance Band. We truly hope that a group from the Photo Club will join us to help celebrate the success of this fantastic organization.
