RAJASTHAN CALENDAR 2012 is a special tribute to the colourful people of Rajasthan and to the continuing work of Sunder Rang.
Sunder Rang is a non-profit project in the small village of Chandelao near Jodhpur in Rajasthan, a largely rural state in northwest India. The aim of the project is “to maintain and support the local craft skills and to develop high quality products with unique Rajasthani designs and to create a sustainable source of income, especially for the women in Chandelao.”
The villagers of Chandelao are working hard to maintain a vibrant community and a number of the local women are learning new skills in the making of handicrafts and traditional textiles as a result of the Sunder Rang project.
