This year’s Interclub AV night will be held on December 7 in Clark Hall.
For those members new to the Club, each year the four Camera Clubs in the Ottawa area (the RAPC, the Camera Club of Ottawa, le Club Polarisé and the Orleans Camera Club) get together on an evening to present AV shows created by their members. This year the event will be held on Tuesday, December 7, in Clark Hall in place of a regular RAPC meeting night. Any RAPC member is welcome (and encouraged) to submit a show for the evening. The Rules and Recommendations for Presenters are attached for your information and use.
The major change this year is that shows produced in any non-EXE format (a limiting feature in the past) can entered, provided that it can be run on the VLC media player (see the attached document for details).
Freeman Keats and I are responsible this year for organizing the evening. Any RAPC member interested in submitting a show for the evening must submit their show to me by November 16. Please do not submit your shows by e-mail but, rather, get them to me either by CD/DVD drop-off (please contact me by e-mail to make arrangements if you wish to do this) or, preferably, by free transmission via www.YouSendIt.com , www.Dropload.com or www.dropbox.com
The rules for submitting entries for the Interclub AV night will also be posted on the RAPC website under the event calendar for the evening and under the AV Forum.
