Pinhole Exhibition’s Call for Submission
Choose any subject you like! In keeping with the spirit of Pinhole Photography
Day, we would encourage you to use traditional methods in producing your work. You may choose to capture your image directly to photographic paper or to film. To help us plan, please send us jpgs of maximum 1MB size by March 10, 2012 for our review. If your work is on film or photo paper you can make the jpgs by scanning or digitally photographing your image. Final images for exhibition must be delivered to the gallery by April 1, 2012 for inclusion in the show.
Submissions for exhibition must be properly mounted and presented. You can do this yourself or if you wish, we can mount, mat and custom frame your work at a discounted cost. We also have pre-made frames available in various sizes for sale at the gallery.
Pieces for submission may be in colour or black & white, and in any size you would like as long as it will fit within a maximum width of 3 ft and height of 4 ft when hung. A grouping of small images, a single large one, diptychs and triptychs are all acceptable.
