Cityscapes and General Competition, February 2012

The results were announced by Susan Gardiner, chair of the Competition Committee, on the evening of February 28 at Clark Hall, RA Centre. The judges were Zygmunt Jakubek, Yannis Souris and Janice Street. Click here for the judges’ bios.

On-topic Assignment (Cityscape) had submissions of 46 slides and 16 prints; General Assignment, 44 slides and 14 prints.

Gerald Bloch single-handedly cleaned up the Senior Print Categories, and Michel Dorais did the same to the Junior ones. Print-of-the-Night belongs to Gerald’s Two Cyclists and Two Pedestrians. Newcomer Dina MacLeod‘s Feel the Fade took home Slide-of-the-Night. There was no promotion in this round.
